Addiction appears to be a growing phenomenon and may include

  • Alcohol
  • Drugs and substances
  • Gambling
  • Sex
  • Work
  • Food

Some addictions can be benign (eg cleaning) while others may be life threatening.  Either way, losing the freedom of choice that comes with the compulsivity of feeling “addicted” is at best wearing. The sufferer may also find an increasing lack of tolerance from partners, family and friends. If you love an addict that can be a significant challenge too.

If you are worried about any of the above please contact me. We can talk through your concerns and I will assess the level of your addiction.  We may then enter into a piece of work together or I will be able to refer you to a specialist in the area identified
